Stay Social:

Why are we so excited about November 3? Boston Brass spends the 1st half of the night playing all their top faves—and after 30 years as one of the premier brass ensembles worldwide, they kinda know their stuff.

But the 2nd half is where things get REALLY cool: the audience actually selects the setlist! Provide an interesting story about why you voted for your song, and your words could even be featured in the intro!

How awesome is that?!

Boston Brass

November 3, 2017, 7:30pm - November 3, 2017, 8:45pm

The iconic Boston Brass ensemble has been captivating audiences of all ages and around the world with their unique brand of entertainment for over 30 years. Lively repartee and a generous helping of humor and personality “bridge the ocean of classical formality” to delight crowds with a wide selection of musical styles in a fun and friendly atmosphere. They’ll be with us on November 3 in partnership with Northwestern College Music Department and Woodbury-Central High School. The first half of the performance will feature the band's own all-time favorite compositions in a variety of styles, from tango to the big screen—and 30 years of playing music makes these guys pretty much experts on this kind of thing, folks. During intermission, Boston Brass provides an unparalleled level of audience participation as the theater goers themselves will decide the second half program via ballots in the lobby. Each nominated category will include three choices. Patrons will also be encouraged to explain why they chose their selections, and the most intriguing stories will be included in the second half music introductions by the Boston Brass!
