It’s a bloodbath out there! Or is that just ketchup? Come learn how to take a punch, sell a fall, and totally annihilate your opponent—safely! Learn the tricks of the trade you’ll need to choreograph your own staged fight scenes and totally fool your audience…or even just your mom.

Participants should wear tennis shoes/sneakers and clothing that will allow a comfortable full range of motion.
Meet the Instructor: April Hubbard is a local theatre artist (actor, director, teacher) with graduate degrees in Theatre (M.A. Bowling Green State University) and Theatre Direction (M.F.A University of South Dakota ). She has directed over twenty productions in the area (Dordt, Northwestern, Schoolhouse Company, Tulip Festival Night Show, etc.) and taught in both Dordt and Northwestern’s theatre departments. Some of April’s areas of specialization in addition to directing are drama therapy, stage movement and combat, and acting.
