Quilters featured on Iowa Public Radio

Several members of Sioux Prairie Quilters are featured on Iowa Public Radio’s program, Iowa Roots – interviewed at the May quilt show. Shown at the show are quilters Mary Zagaeski, Linda Feikema and Pat Jongewaard.

ORANGE CITY – Several members of Sioux Prairie Quilters are featured on Iowa Public Radio’s show, Iowa Roots.

 

During Orange City’s Tulip Festival in May, Riki Salzman of the Iowa Arts Council interviewed several local quilters. The interviews were held in conjunction with Quilting in Northwest Iowa: An Evolving Tradition, sponsored by the Orange City Arts Council at the Sioux Prairie Quilters quilt show.

 

Featured in the Iowa Roots interviews are Marcia Van Oort of Doon; Joanne Alberda, Barb Tazelaar and Pat Jongewaard of Sioux Center; and Carolyn Elder, Kathy Kelly and Linda Feikema of Orange City.
