An Evening of Dance to be held February 6

ORANGE CITY – The fifth annual An Evening of Dance will feature preschoolers through college students, dancing at the Unity Christian Knight Center Saturday, Feb. 6.

The 7:00 p.m. performance will feature a variety of dance styles, under the leadership of local dance instructors.

The show is a celebration of the art of dance, said Becky Donahue, coordinator of the show for Orange City Arts. Many families are part of the dance community, but each year Orange City Arts offers An Evening of Dance, to share the dancers’ talents with the broader citizenry.

Seating is reserved this year, and tickets are required for everyone who is not dancing in the show. Tickets will be available by January 25 at the Orange City Chamber windmill office, from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Tickets will also be available at the door.

Yoga by the Lake

Join us for a morning session of yoga at Dunlop Park. Yoga is a time for you to be present, not thinking of what you are going to do in the next hour, or what you have done, but to just be in the moment. Concentrating on your breathing and physical movements, creates a stillness in you that can help lower blood pressure and daily stress… leaving you calm, but energized.
Free. Registration is requested; those registered will receive an email if class is postponed due to inclement weather.
