**UPDATE: TONIGHT’S CONCERT IS MOVED TO MOC HIGH SCHOOL AUDITORIUM. RELAY FOR LIFE WILL CONTINUE AT WINDMILL PARK.
Summer’s first concert is paired with Sioux County Relay for Life and a community BBQ.
The Orange City Area Community Band is made up of 40 Sioux County musicians of all ages, and is consistently a crowd pleaser. Under the direction of Dan Mangold, the Band performs three times each Onstage Orange City Season, with musical selections that range from patriotic tunes to movie hits to big band. This summer, the Community Band performance dates are June 13, June 20, and July 11.
The first concert on June 13 will accompany Sioux County Relay for Life as they raise money in support of cancer research and celebrate, support and remember those who have undergone cancer treatment. The evening begins at 5:30 with a community BBQ available for a freewill donation (proceeds go to Sioux County Relay for Life), and the music will begin just after 7pm. The event concludes with Relay for Life’s signature luminaria ceremony at dusk.
Special thanks to our sponsors American State Bank, CIVCO Medical Solutions, and Orange City Area Health System for making this concert possible.
