That Gail Marincovich has often traveled to Europe makes her somewhat unique, but that she’s been there five times (!) with a load of high school students marching behind her seems as amazing as it is heroic. You can understand why the OC Arts Council trusts her with absolutely everything; she’s been through absolutely everything. If she gets a few hours free, she’ll curl up with Willa Cather, Harper Lee or Barbara Kingsolver; and she loves fishing but still has to figure out how to hold a book and a spinning rod simultaneously. She teaches high school English (and has for 21 years at MOC-FV), and she coached speech and directed school plays and musicals for many of those years. When she’s not gardening, cooking, writing, singing or acting, Gail, along with her husband Rusty, likes to travel to other places besides Europe — especially to visit their sons Ben and Ryan, in Denver and Las Vegas.
